One of our primary visions is to expose new and creative entertainment to the residents of the second largest city in Michigan. I believe if we offer our clients a quality meal, affordable drinks, and original entertainment laced with integrity and commitment, we are sailing outside the boundaries of chain restaurants and conventional venues for listening to music such as commercial radio, large concert halls and television’s music stations. To allow people once again to hear the music live is something that should never, ever go away.

As part of the River City Slims staff, I will do my best to promote your band, make sales of your CD’s a link on our web site, and keep the River City Slims audience informed and part of your musical fan base and community.

If we all do not work together to encourage and promote homegrown entertainment and nurture the culture, then we have robbed each other and hindered all the forthcoming efforts of generations to come.

I salute Billy's Lounge in East Town and the now closed ‘Rhythm Kitchen Cafe” and the “Silver Cloud” – who started this road in this city years before.

Good luck to all of you pioneers who chose to walk down a more difficult road and who delight in giving us the melody that takes us to that special place.
